Carter Newell Lawyers has recently won the “Brisbane Law Firm of the Year” award, at the 2008 the Australasian Law Awards night in Sydney.

Carter Newell was nominated as a finalist for this award, alongside four other premier Brisbane Law Firms by peer, client and industry leaders.  

The judging process included a rigorous analysis of the firm’s ability to deliver astute judgement and advice as well as provide superior client service.  

In announcing the reason for Carter Newell's inclusion as a finalist, it was said “Carter Newell was considered one of the country’s best small firms, a reputation that has won it a swag of clients among Australia’s top 100 listed companies”.


Senior Partner, Paul Hopkins believes that the long term focus the firm has placed on client service and the dedication of the firm’s staff has enabled the firm to win this award.
