Wisconsin-based TAGLaw member, von Briesen & Roper, s.c., announced today that Shareholder Chris A. Jenny has been named one of the Top Construction Lawyers in Wisconsin by The Daily Reporter and the Wisconsin Law Journal. Attorney Chris A. Jenny is a Shareholder in the Business Practice Group of von Briesen & Roper, s.c. and practices in the firm’s Madison office. Atty. Jenny’s practice focuses on representing businesses in transactional and litigation matters in the areas of business planning, real estate, construction law, business transactions, estate planning, and post-death administration.

Atty. Jenny has extensive experience in the construction and real estate industries representing contractors, suppliers, landlords, tenants and real estate developers. He assists clients with a wide variety of issues including contract drafting, defect disputes, financing, real estate development, and collections. He also represents a large number of national and local landlords and tenants in their lease negotiations.

Atty. Jenny is a frequent speaker and author and has been named a “Rising Star” in Business/Corporate Law by Law & Politics and Milwaukee Magazine every year since 2007. He currently serves as the Ethics and Bylaws Committee Chairperson for NARI of Madison and is a member of the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin and the Madison Trust for Historic Preservation.

Atty. Jenny is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American and Dane County Bar Associations. He received a J.D., with honors, from the University of Wisconsin and a B.B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Originally from Platteville, Wisconsin, he resides in Edgerton, Wisconsin with his wife, Sara, and their two children.
