Leading accountancy and business advisory firm Burgis & Bullock has increased its presence in Stratford-upon-Avon through a merger with the well-known local practice Guard D’Oyly.

The move is the latest success for Burgis & Bullock, which moved into Stratford two yeas ago, and has seen a strong demand for its services from business and private clients in the area.

Fuller Landau is thrilled to announce that our firm has been named to the 2018 LIST OF BEST WORKPLACES™ FOR MILLENNIALS. Fuller Landau received this honour after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work® based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work®. In addition to several other criteria, an organization had to have a minimum 90% positive response to the statement “I am treated fairly regardless of my age” and have a least 30% of employees fit the Millennial demographic (born after 1980) to be considered for this certification.

Weaver Private Foundation is dedicated to creating a relationship between our employees and the communities in which we work and live. At Weaver, we encourage and enable our employees to drive positive change in local communities by giving them the opportunity to apply for contributions to an organization in which they are involved.

In spring 2018, the Foundation donated $19,500 to 19 different organizations in support of our employees and their community involvement efforts. Weaver’s Audit Senior Manager, James Jones, nominated Sharing Hands: A Respite Experience (SHARE). SHARE partners with all members of families where there are children with special needs, supporting their efforts to establish and maintain strong and successful families.

Berdon LLP audit partners Rita Pierre, CPA and Grace Singer, CPA and tax partner Lisa S. Goldman, CPA, TEP, M.TAX were recognized as Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting by Crain’s New York Business. The 2018 Candidates were selected through Crain’s research and nominations from major firms in the New York metropolitan area, and chosen based on career accomplishments, mentorship, community involvement, and other criteria.

The Family Promise of Greater Cleveland is an outcomes-based homeless shelter that helps over 100 families per year to find long-term solutions to housing.
