Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB), one of the UK’s leading firms of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, has secured Aberdeen-based UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) inspection company Air Control Entech (ACE) a significant investment to support the future growth of the company.

ACE, founded by Managing Director Kieran Hope in 2016, was established to revolutionise the way inspection work is carried out. Through his experience of the offshore inspection market, Kieran identified that off the shelf UAV’s were not fit for purpose in the often harsh offshore environment where safety is critical. Kieran founded ACE to engineer and commercialise a range of UAV’s equipped and tested for high performance and safety in the tough conditions of the North Sea.

On October 25th PBGW hosted the Fourth Annual Halloween Bash. PBGW’s Halloween Bash provides those with special needs the opportunity to trick-or-treat in a fun and safe environment. 100% of the profits from this event went to the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley, further benefiting the local special needs community. Local TAGLaw Member Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP also supported their fellow TAG Alliances colleagues as a sponsor of the event.

Russell Brown of Lehman Brown (Beijing & Shanhai, China) visited the offices of fellow TIAG Member Cornick, Garber & Sandler, LLP (New York, USA) on Tuesday, November 20 to conduct a presentation on various business issues related to doing business in China. Clients, attorneys, outsourced CFOs, internal accounting providers, and other financial professionals attended this informative session. Several networking opportunities arose from this collaboration between TIAG Members.

Mercer & Hole is moving to a new flagship office in Lombard Street, London and at the same time, the firm is launching a confident new look.

The London office and the new branding supports Mercer & Hole’s growth and ambition. Over the past three years the firm has grown by 44.8% and the 21-partner firm now has a team of over 220, working across four offices. Mercer & Hole is a top 40 accountancy firm, one of the top accountancy firms for private client and one of the top financial planning companies in the UK.

New Uptown location places Weaver in the heart of the business district.

In October, national accounting firm Weaver, one of the 40 largest CPA firms in the United States, relocated its Dallas office to a new multi-use tower in Uptown, an exciting, fast-growing area of Dallas. The Union is a 22-story office tower with restaurants, retail — including a grocery store — and a 23-story apartment tower. It is also pre-certified as a LEED Gold Tower, a mark of the energy efficiency and sustainability features incorporated into the building. Weaver is one of the first office tenants to occupy the space.
