Chris Laughton of Mercer & Hole will show how the UK’s Cross-Border Insolvency Regulations 2006 (based on the UNCITRAL Model Law) can help foreign representatives to administer, realise or distribute assets in the UK.
As well as setting out the law and explaining it by reference to case studies, the presentation emphasises that communication and cooperation is the key to success. Although primarily designed for insolvency professionals in the EU who can no longer use EU law to resolve cross-border cases with the UK, the webinar will be relevant to any non-UK insolvency professional who may need to deal with UK assets.
