Von Briesen & Roper, S.C. Welcomes Six Attorneys

Randall D. Crocker, President and CEO of von Briesen & Roper, S.C. (Wisconsin, USA), today announced the addition of six attorneys: Shareholder Jennifer Bolger and Associates Alyssa D. Dowse, Nathan S. Fronk, David P. Knaff, Megan L.W. Jerabek and Rachel N. Schepp.

Jennifer Bolger is a Shareholder in the Environmental Law and Litigation Section. Bolger has represented clients with respect to a wide variety of environmental issues, including solid waste landfill management, transportation of hazardous waste, various types of site closures and remediations, Brownfield redevelopment and environmental due diligence. She has provided advice and counsel regarding many federal and state environmental laws, including Superfund, Clean Water Act and RCRA.

Bolger is a member of the Milwaukee and American Bar Associations and the State Bar of Wisconsin (Board of Directors, Environmental Law Section). She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association. She is a member of the Association of Women Lawyers, Professional Dimensions and a lifetime member of the Service Club of Milwaukee. Bolger was named a “Rising Star” by Law & Politics magazine every year since 2006. She is a long-standing member of the Board of Directors for the Urban Ecology Center and an active member of the Environment & Transportation Committee of the Bay View Neighborhood Association.

Bolger earned a J.D. (2000) and a B.S. (1993) from Marquette University. She resides in Bay View, Wisconsin, with her husband, Enrique Breceda.

Alyssa D. Dowse is a member of the Compensation and Benefits Section. She assists administrators and fiduciaries of employee benefits plans in complying with the standards of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related regulations.

During law school, Dowse was the Chief Justice of the Marquette Law School Moot Court Program and the President of the Student Bar Association. She was the winner of the Ramon A. Klitzke Prize for Best Oral Advocacy, as well as a member of the winning team, in the 2009 Jenkins Moot Court Competition. She also received the Marquette University Law School Moot Court Program’s Outstanding Brief Award. Additionally, Alyssa performed pro bono work at the Marquette Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

Dowse received a J.D., cum laude, (2010) from Marquette University and a B.A. (2006) from the University of Wisconsin. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, she resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Nathan S. Fronk is a member of the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, insurance coverage, toxic tort and general litigation matters.

During law school Fronk was a judicial intern to Justice N. Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and was a member and Articles editor for the Marquette Law Review. He was the winner of the 2009 ACS Student Writing Competition and was published in the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.

Fronk is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Young Lawyers’ Association and is fluent in German. He received a J.D., magna cum laude, (2010) from Marquette University, an M.A. in Political Science (2005) from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in consortium with Humboldt Universität (Berlin, Germany), and a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, with highest distinction, (2004) from the University of Wisconsin. He resides in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with his wife, Katharine LaLonde.

Megan L.W. Jerabek is a member of the Business Practice Group. Her practice focuses on corporate transactions, business succession planning, and trust and estates.

Jerabek is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Bar Association, Dane County Bar Association, Madison Estate Council, and Downtown Madison, Inc. (Membership Committee).

She received a J.D. (2008) from Marquette University and a B.A. (2003) from the University of Wisconsin. She resides in Windsor, Wisconsin, with her husband, Josh Jerabek.

David P. Knaff is a member of the Business Practice Group. Knaff focuses his practice on transactional matters and contracts, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities and corporate finance issues. Prior to joining von Briesen, Knaff spent over a decade in the legal field, including a number of years in the legal department of a publicly-traded financial technology provider performing securities, mergers, acquisitions, and commercial contract work.

Knaff is a member of the Chapter 183 Wisconsin Limited Liability Law Subcommittee of the State Bar of Wisconsin Business Law Section and an active member of the Milwaukee Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Knaff received a J.D. (2009) from Marquette University and a B.S. (1998) from the University of Wisconsin. He resides in Franklin, Wisconsin, with his wife, Jessica Grant.

Rachel N. Schepp re-joins the firm as a member of the Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group. Schepp’s practice focuses on commercial disputes, hospital collections and general litigation matters.

Schepp is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association. She received a J.D., magna cum laude, (2003) from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. (2000) from Winona State University. She resides in Franklin, Wisconsin, with her husband, Chad Schepp, and their two daughters.
