BoyneClarke Launches New Brand

BOYNECLARKE LLP (Nova Scotia, Canada) one of Atlantic Canada's largest law firms, is celebrating 39 years of success with a sharp rebrand, a new office location and a freshly minted LLP designation.

During their many years of practice, BOYNECLARKE is proud to have earned a reputation for providing legal expertise with a commitment to integrity, professionalism and community. However, firm management felt it was time to better communicate that commitment by undergoing a rebranding exercise with the help of Halifax design firm, Breakhouse.

"Differentiation is important for any competitive business and law firms are no different," says BOYNECLARKE Managing Partner, John Young. "When we surveyed the legal landscape in Canada we found most firms were almost indistinguishable from one another. We needed to find a creative and authentic way to say who we are as a firm and what we believe in."

Working with Breakhouse, BOYNECLARKE was able to drill down to see that everything they did was rooted in a strong sense of honour - from the way in which they practice law to their relationships with their clients and their involvement within the community.  At BOYNECLARKE, honour is a code of conduct, a promise and it's a standard they strive for everyday.

Coinciding with the launch of their rebrand, BOYNECLARKE recently moved into new offices in Dartmouth.  A sign of the healthy economy in Atlantic Canada, BOYNECLARKE needed more space to accommodate their growing business and found it at Metropolitan Place, a shining landmark building on the city's skyline. Working with Halifax interior design firm, Design360, the look and layout of BOYNECLARKE's new offices better reflect the welcoming, relaxed and efficient culture of the firm in a stylish way.

Using local partners for BOYNECLARKE's recent branding, design and construction projects was not only important to the firm, it was a natural choice.

"We have a great deal of talent right here in Nova Scotia and it's part of who we are to support local business," says Young. "Not only are we extremely pleased with the results, we're proud of the affiliations and the fiscally responsible execution."

While the look and location of BOYNECLARKE may be new, the core values of the firm remain the same.

"We're still as dedicated to groundbreaking excellence in law, personal relationships with our clients and contributing positively to our community as we were when we opened our doors in 1972," confirms Young.

Due to amendments to the Nova Scotia Partnership Act, Boyne Clarke has also become a limited liability partnership as of August 23, 2010. The firm is now known as BOYNECLARKE LLP.
