On Wednesday 31st May, ESV held its first Business Owners Event for 2017. Clients and guests had the pleasure of meeting and hearing from Australia’s first female Winter Olympic Gold Medallist, Alisa Camplin.
Although she eventually dominated the field of aerial skiing, Alisa’s first time seeing snow was at the age of 19, when she decided to learn how to ski. Alisa broke nearly every bone in her body as she climbed through the ranks and eight years later, at 27 years old, she brought home an Olympic Gold Medal in Freestyle Aerial Skiing. She achieved this all whilst building a global business career with corporate giant IBM.

Dan Nevins, motivational speaker and member of the Wounded Warrior Project related his deeply personal story before a gathering of more than 100 of Berdon LLP Partners, Principals, and Managers at a recent firm retreat at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey. The Berdon event focused on the strategic pillars that the firm plans to build on to propel growth as it enters its second century of operations.
